Venom Encounter Details
- Price: $110 (does not include park admission)
- Session time: Daily at 9:00am
- Duration: 30 minutes
- Age limit: For ages 6 years+
- Group limit: Max. 6 people per session
Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who has also paid for the experience.

Please Note:
- This encounter takes place in a biosecurity zone. For the health and safety of our reptiles guests are required to not touch other reptiles before the encounter.
- You will also be required to wear provided protective gumboots, please bring own socks.
- For biosecurity, participants will be sprayed lightly with a disinfectant before entering.
- This encounter takes place in a restricted zone that is not wheelchair accessible.
- Only paying participants will be able to attend this encounter (unless otherwise stated)
- Participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who has also paid for the experience.
- Guests must be at reception for their designated encounter time allotment
Frequently Asked Questions
No, our animal encounter prices do not include general admission to the Park. Admissions tickets can be purchased in your checkout.
Our Animal Encounters can be booked for people ages 4+. Please note that participants under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian who has also paid for the experience and purchased entry tickets.
Suitable and comfortable clothing and footwear must be worn on the day. We recommend long pants to avoid any scratches.
If at the time of your encounter there is extreme weather or other conditions, the encounter will be cancelled to ensure the wellbeing of our animals.
Bookings for Animal Encounters are non-refundable. In the event that you cannot attend your booked time, we will endeavour to arrange another time, subject to availability.
