Welcome the world 'Sunda' ✨

This week we hatched a beautiful baby Komodo dragon after 8 months of incubation! Little Sunda is the result of the third successful breeding of komodo dragons here in Australia.

At only 30cm long, he may be tiny now, but one day he could grow to almost 3 metres in length and become one of the world’s largest lizards! 🦎

How cute are our New Holland Mice! 💚

These cuties live in our Conservation Ark and are part of a breeding program helping to save their species from extinction.

Leave a tax deductible donation to @aussieark before June 30 to help save these little critters ✨

Look at the size of those FANGS! 💢

Unlike Australian snakes, rhinoceros vipers have hinged fangs that fold back when their mouth is closed. Their fangs can reach 1.5cm long!
The difference comes down to snake families. Rhinoceros vipers are vipers, while Australian venomous snakes are elapids, meaning they have shorter, fixed front fangs.

Our pups are taking their first look at the world! 🥺

All 6 of our dingo puppies have started exploring their yard, and have eaten their first proper meal that's not mum's milk.

They're still a bit nervous but are gaining more and more confidence everyday 💙
